Have you always wanted to learn about curling? This is your chance! Register now for Leeuwarden Student Sport's Curling Clinic.

Curling is played with stones weighing up to 20 kg. You slide these stones across the ice floor to the so-called ‘house’. When you release the stone, you can give it a twist: that's what we call the ‘curl’. Then there are those who sweep very hard across the ice with a sweeper. This causes the ice to heat up, leaving a layer of water on the ice. This makes the stone glide longer.

The clinic will take place at the Elfstedenhal in Leeuwarden. You should report to reception at 19:45 and the clinic will start at 20:00.

If you have a sports pass, you can sign up via the Studentsport app. Without a sports pass, you can still participate in the workshop for only €5.00.
