Introduction class fencing

Looking for a sport that is active, social, and just a little bit different? Fencing may not be the first sport you think of, but it is one of the most fun to discover. Fast and dynamic, but also tactical and mentally challenging - it's not called “physical chess” for nothing. You train your focus, reactivity, and coordination, all at the same time. And the best part is: fencing is for everyone. Whether athletic or not, tall or short, or fast or slow, fencing is all about balance. Many people who do not feel at home in other sports find their place here. The atmosphere at Schermkring Friesland is accessible and friendly. You learn at your own pace and train together with other students, in a sport that is as social as it is physical.
Wondering if it's something for you? Come along during the introductory fencing class on May 24 at Bewegingscentrum Leeuwarden in the Vuurzaal.
From 11:15 you can walk in and at 11:30 the lesson will start (until 12:30). If you have a sports pass, the cost for participation is only €5! And if you like it, after that you can fence 5 times for free at Schermkring Friesland!
