Will you be the fastest student in Leeuwarden?

LOOP Leeuwarden is the biggest running and walking event of Fryslân. Every year there are thousands of participants at the start. The course goes straight through attractive Leeuwarden and its surroundings. On Sunday, May 11, the 18th edition of LOOP Leeuwarden will take place. Will you participate as well? As a student, you have extra advantages: a discount on your starting ticket, a running t-shirt, and a medal at the finish!

Please note:

• You can register as a student (mbo, hbo, wo, or PhD). To register, you will need your email address from your educational institution.
• The ticket shop for student tickets closes on April 10, 23:59.
• You can only register using your student e-mail address.

Start times of the distances

Running
5 kilometer - 12:15 p.m.
10 kilometers - 1:30 p.m.
Half marathon - 09:30 a.m.

Walking
6 kilometers - 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
12 kilometers - 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
18 kilometers - 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Prices

Are you the fastest student? For the numbers 1, 2, and 3 for both men and women,n we will award prizes at the 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon!

To have a chance to win a place on the podium, there are two conditions: 

• You are required to wear the Leeuwarden Student Sport shirt during your participation in LOOP Leeuwarden.
• You must make your own arrangements to report to the Leeuwarden Student Sport booth at the exit area immediately after participating.

After the finish, the fastest men and women will receive information at the booth about where and what time the award ceremony will take place. 

The fastest times will be determined based on the net time (exact time from start to finish).
